2015   Name of the Sri Lanka Journal of Venereology was changed to Sri Lanka Journal of Sexual Health and HIV Medicine (JoSHH)

2015   Sri Lanka College of Venereologists officially networked with Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM) and through that, networked with 42 Asia Pacific Professional Societies

2016   Online version of the Sri Lanka Journal of Sexual Health and HIV Medicine (JoSHH) with online review system was established with international network for availability of scientific publications (INASP) and National Science Foundation (NSF)

2016   The website was revamped with online registration and abstract submission facility for the Sri Lanka CoSHH conference.

2016 Symposia programme for health professionals started. The first satellite symposium was held on 14th July 2016 in collaboration with the Anuradhapura Clinical Society

2016  The name of the Sri Lanka College of Venereologists was changed to Sri Lanka College of Sexual Health and HIV Medicine (Sri Lanka CoSHH)

2007   First MD Venereology exam was held in collaboration with the PGIM

2008   The college was named Sri Lanka College of Venereologists in October 2008

2007   Sri Lanka Journal of Venereology was started and first publication was done in December 2007

2012   Patient support fund of the Sri Lanka College of Venereologists started

2013   Dr Iyanthi Abeyewickrema award for the best performance in MD in Venereology started

1995  After preliminary meetings and discussions and adaptation of the constitution, the first set of office bearers of the college of Genitourinary Physicians of Sri Lanka was elected on 7th October 1995

1996   First Annual Academic Sessions of the College of Venereologists of Sri Lanka was held in 1996

1998   The name of the college was changed to the college of Venereologists of Sri Lanka

2001   Board of study in Venereology was formed under the PGIM, University of Colombo on 1st October 2001

2002   The postgraduate Diploma in Venereology (Pg Dip Ven) course commenced on 19th July 2002

2002   Dr & Mrs Lucian Jayasuriya award for the best performance in Diploma in Venereology was started

2003   MD Venereology course was started
